Lesson Plan The “Learn How to Fly Fish” Lesson Plan is a key component of the total curriculum. It should get you well on your way to effectively teach fly fishing. Compiled after 8 years teaching 1000’s of students, the program serves as a “road map” for instructors. It is designed to provide an "evolutionary" methodology to presenting the information effectively to middle school, high school, college and/or other classroom settings. The plans are adaptable to a per session role depending on the teacher's timetable and classroom needs/objectives. The School of FlyFishing’s textbook, “Learn How To Fly Fish, A Guide To The Fundamentals of Fly Fishing”, is the outline for the lesson plan and is structured/organized by the individual chapters in the text. The instructor, at his/her discretion, may alter the order of presentation of these chapters, to adapt to individual class dynamics, timing, weather, etc The Lesson Plan contains:
The Assesment/Testing Module provided with the "Learn How To Fly Fish" curriculum includes comprehensive, proven exams. can be done manually by the instructor, or with a little effort, automatically by an instructor with results posted on the internet. |
