The "Learn How To Fly
Fish" curriculum was designed to be comprehensive yet easy-to-use.
You’ll find not only is the information beneficial for the
beginner it is quite relevant to the needs of the advanced fly fisher as well. Composed and written from an educational perspective, the curriculum is presented in a logical format, organized in a manner well-suited for middle schools, high schools, colleges and universities. It consists of a compendium of 10 interrelated “disciplines”: Knots, Equipment, Fly Reels, Fly Lines, Leaders, Fly Rods, Insectology, Flies, Fish, and Casting. The School of FlyFishing also provides important educational tools and equipment available in a complete package or by individual elements based on the specific needs of each institution.
